Writing Letters

Every year, the children at Destiny Garden School learn to write letters in English as part of their curriculum. They address their letters to ‘Dear Sponsor,’ believing they all have a sponsor. This activity is a fantastic way for the children to practice their English reading and writing skills.

 

 

Although sponsors occasionally respond, there is no expectation for them to do so. The children and teachers love receiving letters, which are often used as teaching aids—not just for English, but also for geography and general knowledge. This ensures that no child feels left out.
