Textbooks needed for Destiny Garden School - A Charity Sponsoring Children's Education in Kenya

Funds for additional textbooks needed for Destiny Garden School. The new national curriculum, introduced by the Kenyan government into all schools last year, has meant that most of the textbooks DGS had been using are now out of date, and many more new textbooks are required. Boaz, the DGS School Manager, says:

“I found the worst ratio of text books to children was 1:4 for some subjects whereas other subjects had a ratio of 1:3, and on few instances it gets to 1:2. We hope someday we will get the ratio to 1:1.”
