Africa Watoto Contributes to DGS’s Feeding Programme

Africa Watoto (watoto in Swahili language means children), a UK charity run by Stella, has contributed to  DGS’s feeding programme for many years now and their help is very much appreciated by us all.  This year they have raised enough funds for Destiny Garden School to continue to provide morning porridge for the Pre-Primary children and in addition provide a snack to go with the porridge.  They have also provided enough funds for all 330 children at DGS to have a piece of fruit two times a month.   The children often start the school day hungry and the cup of porridge and a snack will help the younger children; the charity hopes to be able to extend this to the rest of the school in due course.
