A Young Footballer Brings Joy and Team Spirit to Destiny Garden School
Fourteen-year-old Naiomi Grant from Elgin, a talented player for Moray Girls Football Club, brought her passion for football to the students at Destiny Garden School during her visit. Her time at the school left a lasting impact on the children as she shared her skills, taught drills, and played games that brought smiles and excitement to everyone involved.
The children at Destiny Garden School had an incredible time learning from Naiomi, whose love for the game was truly infectious. Beyond the fun and games, Naiomi also assisted in selecting new football strips for the girls’ team, generously donated by volunteers from Moray School Bank.
In a heartwarming gesture of gratitude, the Destiny Garden School girls’ team officially welcomed Naiomi into their team by gifting her a team strip. This special moment symbolized the bonds of friendship and shared passion for football that developed during her visit.
To make the experience even more memorable, the volunteers purchased a trophy and two medals for the girls’ team, giving them the opportunity to host their very own football tournament. It was a moment of celebration, teamwork, and pride for the young athletes.
Naiomi’s visit and the generous support from Moray School Bank not only brought joy to the students but also strengthened the spirit of community and teamwork at Destiny Garden School.
