Kathy’s Challenge raises £100 for DGS – May 2019

Kathy, a keen supporter who has visited DGS several times,  met some hunters and fishermen whilst hiking on Stewart Island, New Zealand. They told her it was impossible to hike a three day hike in one day to another hut, up a peak and back again. Obviously being told it couldn’t be done made Kathy want to do it.  As a challenge one of them said she could shave him a Mohican. 12 hours later and 45kms, Kathy returned and he offered her 200NZ$ (£100) instead! which Kathy has donated to Destiny Garden School.
