Teachers Training Strengthens Delivery of Competency Based Education

Destiny Garden School (DGS) continues to invest in quality education through ongoing teacher development. Yesterday, DGS hosted a training session led by a local Competency Based Education (CBE) expert who has previously worked with the school. His return visit focused on further upskilling the teaching staff in line with the latest CBE system upgrades.

 

 

The training aimed to enhance professionalism and improve the efficiency of curriculum delivery. Key areas covered included assessment setting and analysis, the roles and effectiveness of Heads of Department, integration of co-curricular activities into learning, recent changes within the CBE framework, and guidance on the selection of pathways and schools.

Structured into three interactive sessions, the training encouraged both individual and group participation. Teachers engaged in practical tasks and presented their work, fostering collaboration and deeper understanding.
