Holiday Feeding Programme Brings Nourishment and Joy to DGS

The August school holidays have now come to an end, and throughout this time Destiny Garden School was proud to run a holiday feeding programme for all of our children.

 

For many families, school meals are an essential part of life. When the holidays arrive, this can create extra financial pressure at home. By providing daily meals during the break, we aimed to ease that burden and ensure that no child went hungry.

 

 

But our holiday programme was about more than just food. This summer, the school also opened its doors to provide children with a safe and joyful space to play. The playing fields were alive with laughter, games, and friendship as our students came together to run, play, and simply enjoy being children.

 

 

At Destiny Garden School, we believe that nutrition, play, and community are all vital to a child’s growth and wellbeing. Nutritious meals fuel concentration and learning, while play builds confidence, social skills, and happiness. Together, these experiences help children thrive both inside and outside the classroom.
