At the beginning of the year, the El Niño rains that swept across Kenya rendered the sports field at Destiny Garden Schools unusable. This vital space, where children from DGS and the surrounding community gather to play and develop, was left in dire need of restoration. However, thanks to the incredible efforts of a group of students from a school in Scotland and the local Navy base, this story took a turn for the better.

This month, a group of compassionate students from a Scottish school volunteered at Destiny Garden Schools.
